Carol M. Kern, age 74, of Morrison, IL, died Saturday, September 22, 2018, at the Clarissa Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, IA.
Carol was born July 8, 1944, in Ft. Atkinson, WI, the daughter of Otto and Gertrude (Sery) Callum. She was employed at Bergner’s for many years.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary (Randy) Gabel of Port Byron, IL; two sons, Robert (Fatiha) Kern of Melbourne, FL, and Joseph (Margo) Kern of Hopkinsville, KY; one sister, Virginia Klein of Odessa, FL; two brothers, Floyd (Inez) Callum of Tampa, FL, and Elkhorn, WI, and Eugene (Nancy) Callum of Doylestown, PA; five grandchildren; one step-grandchild; three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Kathleen Dempsey.
A gathering of family and friends will take place at a later date.
