Resthave Home and Beacon of Hope Hospice will present a series designed for caregivers. Once-a-month sessions will be held at Resthave Home’s Assisted Living Dining Room, 408 Maple Avenue, Morrison, IL, from noon to 1:00 p.m. A free lunch will be served. If you are caring for a loved one, bring him/her. Staff will have lunch for your loved one, so you can enjoy lunch and the speaker, Karla Belzer, from the University of Illinois Extension Office.
Being a caregiver can be rewarding, however it can also be challenging and stressful. This education series will address common areas of concern often voiced by caregivers, such as relationships, role reversals, emotions, and family conflicts. At some point in our lives, we may become a caregiver or a friend of a caregiver. This series is for everyone.
