CaregiverHandsResthave Home and Beacon of Hope Hospice will present a series designed for caregivers.  Once-a-month sessions will be held at Resthave Home’s Assisted Living Dining Room, 408 Maple Avenue, Morrison, IL, from noon to 1:00 p.m.  A free lunch will be served.  Please call Tawnya or Karla at 815-772-4021 to reserve a place.

Being a caregiver can be rewarding, however it can also be challenging and stressful.  This education series will address common areas of concern often voiced by caregivers, such as relationships, role reversals, emotions, and family conflicts.  At some point in our lives, we may become a caregiver or a friend of a caregiver.  This series is for everyone.

The sessions follow.

Wednesday, May 17:  Grief Issues for Caregivers

Wednesday, June 14:  Speak Clearly, Listen Carefully

Wednesday, July 12:  Caregivers Need Care, Too

Tuesday, August 8:  Maneuvering Through the Maze of Social Service Professionals.
