Mary Jane Connelly turned 98 on Thursday, April 30.?? She is a retired teacher.?? Her cousin in Alice Bordner.
Alice Bordner will turn 100 on Sunday, May 24. Alice was honored at last year’s Christmas walk. A retired school teacher, she begun her career in a one-room school house and retired from Northside School. She has been looking forward to celebrating her 100th birthday for a long time, but [the COVID-19 pandemic] has put a damper on plans that were made.
The two women are cousins, and it seems like long lives run in their family.
