Barry Dykhuizen has earned a prestigious milestone in his professional career. He completed criteria and testing established by International Local Government Management Organization, of Washington, D. C.
Dykhuizen, City Administrator of Morrison, IL, recently received the Credentialed Manager designation from the International City/County Management Association ICMA.)
He joins over 1400 local government management professionals, currently credentialed through the ICMA Voluntary Credentialing Program
To receive the prestigious ICMA credential, a member must have
- significant experience as a Senior Management Executive in local government
- earned a degree, preferably in Public Administration or a related field
- demonstrated a commitment to high standards of integrity, lifelong learning, and professional development.
CA Dykhuizen is qualified by nearly ten years of professional, local government, executive experience. Prior to his appointment in 2013 as City Administrator of Morrison, he served as City Manager of Guttenberg, IA. He holds a Master of Science from the DePaul University School of Public Service in Chicago, IL.
