Bush Appointed to Illinois Supreme Court Advisory Board

TrentBushTrent L. Bush, a partner with Ward, Murray, Pace & Johnson, P.C., 202 E. Fifth Street, P. O. Box 400, Sterling, IL, has been appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to the Supreme Court e-Business Policy Advisory Board. He is one of three practicing attorneys appointed to the 18-member board. Members include Circuit Court Judges, Circuit Clerks, Appellate Clerks, and Court Administrative IT Officers.

The overall purpose of the board is to provide recommendations, advice, and guidance to the Supreme Court and its Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts, regarding implementation of e-Business applications and data exchanges in Illinois Circuit Courts.

Further, the board will provide oversight and direction to the Supreme Court e-Business Technical Committee in its development of technical standards and documentation of NIEM and data mapping standards.

Bush has served on the Illinois State Bar Association’s Committee on Legal Technology since 2002 and served as its chair in 2009. He represents businesses and individuals in a variety of matters. He is also actively involved in a variety of community organizations and volunteer coaches several local youth sports teams.
