DunkinDonuts2018 marks the 16th Anniversary of the Dunkin’ Donuts Cop on a Rooftop event, with the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois.  This event has been a huge success over the years.  In fact, more than $3.9 million has been raised through this great partnership!

This year’s Cop on a Rooftop event was held Statewide on Friday, May 18, 2018, from 5:00 a.m. to noon.  The organization hoped to raise more than $720,000 for the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois, by people making a purchase at local Dunkin’ Donuts and supporting officers.

Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant John Booker reported, “I want to let everyone know I was on the roof of Dunkin’ Donuts, at 1800 First Avenue, Rock Falls, IL.  “He stated, “I joined countless other Law Enforcement Officers across the State, raising money for Special Olympics Illinois.”

“There are 293 Dunkin’ Donuts locations that helped heighten awareness and raised funds, as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run Cop on a Rooftop event.”
