To all affected Morrison, IL, residents, for precautionary measures only, please be advised that the City of Morrison has issued a Boil Order, to include all residents living on W. Main Street, between Base Street and Orange Street. This also includes one additional address at 300 W. Main Street in the City of Morrison. Residents are advised to boil all water used for drinking and cooking for at least five minutes before consuming it, until further notice This Boil Order is given as a precaution only. There is no evidence the water is unsafe.
The Boil Order was declared due to a water main break.
The Order will be in effect until water samples show that the water is safe.
Residents in the affected area will be notified when the Order has been lifted, or they may call City Hall at 815-772-7657 to inquire.
