Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton stated on Saturday, May 14, 2016, that Charles N. Schoaf of Morrison, IL, has been determined to be the body found in the Rock River in Hillsdale, IL, on Monday, May 9. His family was notified Friday, May 13.
Dental records and an autopsy were assessed this week, to make the conclusive identification. The cause of death was drowning.
