Open Bible Fellowship will host a community blood drive from 3:15 to 6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at 11429 Ward Road, Morrison, IL. The drive will take place in the classroom. This Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center drive is open to the public. Donors who last gave blood on or before Tuesday, January 30, 2018, are eligible to give at this drive.
Appointments are appreciated; walk-in donors are welcome. All donors must bring photo I.D. To donate, please contact Sharon Nolan at 815-778-4544 or visit www.bloodcenterimpact.org and use code 1437 to locate the drive.
Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 with parental permission form available through www.bloodcenter.org) and weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. is required to donate. For questions about eligibility, please call the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center at 800-747-5401.
Blood donation is a safe, simple procedure that takes about 45-minutes-to-one-hour. Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure may be accepted as eligible donors.
Locally, Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is the sole provider of blood and blood components to patients at hospitals in Geneseo, and Morrison, IL; Clinton, IA; the Quad Cities.
