Blood Drive at Morrison Hospital

Save3Morrison Community Hospital will host a community blood drive from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. The public is invited to donate blood at this drive. The Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) Donor Bus will be parked at the main entrance to the hospital, located at 303 N. Jackson Street, Morrison, IL.

To donate, please contact Ronelle Burmeister in the MCH Lab, 815-772-5536, or visit www.bloodcenterimpact.org and use code 2540 to locate the drive.

Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 with parental permission form available through www.bloodcenter.org) and weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. is required to donate. For questions about eligibility, please call the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center at (800)747-5401. Donors who last gave blood on or before November 29, 2017, are eligible to give at this drive.

Blood donation is a safe, simple procedure that takes about 45-minutes-to-one-hour. Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure may be accepted as eligible donors.

The Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is the exclusive provider to Morrison Community Hospital, as well as hospitals in Clinton, IA, Geneseo, IL, the Quad Cities, and Iowa City, IA.
