Billy J. Jones, age 80, died Friday, January 14, 2022, at Pleasant View Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Morrison, IL.
Billy was born on May 27, 1941, in Trumann, AR, the son of Billy R. and Agnes L. (Lafarlett) Jones. He was employed as a Machinist with Illinois Forge in Rock Falls, IL, for 37 years retiring in 2002.
Survivors include daughter, Lisa (Dave) Durlacher of Mundelein, IL; sisters, Joyce (Mike) Riggins of Orange Park, FL, Nancy (Paul) Como of Dixon, IL, and Johnnie Sigel of Rock Falls; brothers, Larry (Cindy) Jones of Morrison, Bob Jones of Rock Falls, and Steve Jones of Morrison; three grandchildren, Dane, Reese, and Bryce.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bobby Joe and J. B. Jones; nephew, Billy Jones.
Private Graveside Services will be held at Coloma Township Cemetery in Rock Falls, IL, with Pastor Dalmus Meeks officiating.
A Celebration of Life will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the Rock Falls American Legion Post 902, 712 4th Avenue, Rock Falls, IL.
