Mark your calendars! Friends of the Parks announces that a lucky youngster will ride away from the Morrison Evening Farmers’ Market on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, with a brand new bicycle and helmet. The Market will be held downtown on Main Street from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. You need not be present to win.
At the Market, Friends of the Parks will also offer pre-sales of Coffee City fresh-roasted and flavored coffee beans and gourmet teas. The 10 ounce, vacuum-sealed, foil packages of coffee are offered in seven flavors, including everyone’s favorite, Hazelnut. Choose a few for yourself, or find a few to have on hand for that perfect gift.
If your preference is tea, you can choose from six flavors. The tea is packed with 25 tea bags in a similar vacuum-sealed bag to ensure freshness.
The coffee and tea will be pre-sold and delivered to you by the middle of August. This method is used, because the 100% Arabica coffee beans are fresh-roasted daily and flavored to order, then drop shipped to us directly from the Coffee City facility.
Friends of the Parks’ booth will be located at the intersection of Main and Genesee Streets, on the south side of the street. All proceeds from the sale of the coffee and tea will be used to enhance the Morrison-Rockwood Recreational Trail.
