beverly bauscherBeverly J. Bauscher, 87, of Morrison, IL, died Monday, September 25, 2017, at Resthave Home, Morrison, IL.

Beverly was born March 16, 1930, in Morrison, to Allan R. and Luella I. (Schroeder) Armstrong. She was educated in the Morrison Grade Schools and was a 1948 graduate of Morrison High School in Morrison. She attended Brown’s Business College in Freeport, IL. Bev married John F. “Jack” Bauscher on July 12, 1953, in Morrison. He died April 28, 2001. During her husband’s military career, she moved throughout the United States and foreign countries several times. Following her husband’s retirement, they moved to Morrison. Bev was first employed as a waitress for the former Morrison Country Club and the Ice Box Restaurant both in Morrison. Later, she was employed in her mother’s business in Morrison, known as Luella’s Dress Shop. She also worked at General Electric in Morrison. Bev was a member of the Morrison United Methodist Church and the church’s United Methodist Women’s Good Morning Circle. She was a member of the Morrison VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries. She enjoyed reading, yard work, flower gardening, and the time spent volunteering with church friends. She enjoyed the “coffee group” at Hardees, the Red Apple Restaurant, and gathering with her classmates.

Survivors include one daughter, Cindy (Randy) Tiesman of Hudsonville, MI; one son, John (Bonnie) Bauscher of Morrison; five grandchildren, Billl Halverson, J.J. (Shelley) Bauscher, Jill (Kenny) King, Ashley and Haley Tiesman; five great-grandchildren, Andrew Sweely, Noah Bauscher, Zander, Zayden and Zavier King; two step-great-grandchildren,Tanner Brainerd and Nathan Bielema.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack; two grandchildren, Benjamin Bauscher and Noah Tiesman; one brother, Eugene Armstrong.

FUNERAL:  10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Morison United Methodist Church

OFFICIATING:  Rev. Ryan Sutton, Pastor of Morrison United Methodist Church

VISITATION:  4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 27, 201,7 at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

INTERMENT:  Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison, IL

Memorials to Morrison United Methodist Church and Resthave Home have been established.
