For over 20 years–as long as Whiteside County has had a Relay for Life team–“Bethesda Blaze” has been a dynamic participant. They have raised $100,000!
Pictured are participants from the Saturday, February 27, breakfast fundraiser. Adults are Lisa Bramm, Alicia Burkholder, Jen Chambers, Allyson Gray, Elyce Norman, and Olivia Norman. Alicia’s daughter, Leslie Chambers, is in front. Not shown are Kohl’s Manager Jeff Rogan and Amber Rolland.
Adding to the power of the “Bethesda Blaze” team were members of Kohl’s Associates in Action, a program that donates $500 per fundraiser, and Thrivant Financial, who donated the supplies. John Deere Company matches employee donations up to $1000 per year.
Rather than setting a breakfast/brunch meal price, donations will be accepted. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society’s Whiteside County “Relay for Life” event.
