Bernette Arlene Andresen, 92, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Genesis Medical Center-Illini, Silvis, IL.
Bernette was born August 22, 1925, in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Fred and Freida (Behrens) Brandenburg and step-daughter to John Eickert. She married LeRoy Andresen on September 26, 1942. Bernette was employed by the Shamrock in Cordova, IL, as the Salad Girl, and then GE Morrison, IL, retiring in 1990 after 20 years of service. She also drove for R. C. Smith in Morrison for ten years.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Claude) Kahley, Punta Gorda, FL, Kristie (Dallas) Hoffman, Moline; grandchildren, Cory (Chantal) Andresen, Jay Kahley, Candice Griffith (Nick Georgean), Jarrod (Mandy) Andresen, Shelagh (John) Clark, Erik (Megan) Schroeder, Jamie Andresen, Jessica (Dan) Hoffman, Jo Lynn (Norman) Powell, Lisa (Matt) Keeney, Kyle Goodhart; 11 great-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Andresen; four brothers; two sisters; one grandson, Jon Kahley.

Services will be 10:30 a.m., at Messiah Lutheran Church in Port Byron, IL, on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Monday, April 2, 2018, at Gibson-Bode Funeral Home, Port Byron, IL.
Burial will be in the McCausland Cemetery, McCausland, IA.
