Ben Tegeler said he began playing “Little League at seven years of age and travel baseball at eight.”  At MHS he plays “second base and outfield; I like both of them a lot.  I’m definitely ready for [college ball].”  There are “Varsity and Junior Varsity teams.”  He will be on the Varsity Cardinals team, wearing the “black, white, and red uniform,” and playing “48 to 52 games a season.”

Ben’s older brother, Jacob, is a Senior collegiate baseball player at St. Ambrose University, Davenport, IA.  His parents visited Jacob in Orlando, FL, during a recent Warner University and Russ Blatt College Tournament, which ran Wednesday, March 9, to Wednesday, March 16.   After graduation he will enter a Doctoral program in Physical Therapy.
