Morrison Chamber of Commerce, 221 W. Main Street, Morrison, IL, presented the workers of Joe Gensini Excavating, Hennepin, IL, with a Because Nice Matters award. The tribute occurred on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at 12:30 p.m., in the Robert A. Millikan Pocket Park abutting the Chamber office.
The award was presented after a pizza lunch provided by owner, Joe Gensini.
Morrison Chamber of Commerce submitted this Because Nice Matters Award, stating, “This amazing team was nominated for helping our community navigate Main Street, during the construction process, and making the transition as smooth as possible. Many businesses have commented how helpful the team has been, helping customers get in and out of their businesses, and making sure everyone gets around Main Street the safest way possible.
