On Monday, November 21, 2016, City Administrator Barry Dykhuizen reported, “The City of Morrison is once again hearing complaints about aggressive sales calls related to electrical suppliers. Please be cautious with the information you provide over the phone. These calls are typically best taken with a healthy dose of skepticism.”
“If you participate in Morrison’s Electrical Aggregation Program, the rate through September 2017 is 6.603 cents/kWh. The supplier is Homefield Energy.”
“In the near future, the City will evaluate the merits of electrical aggregation for beyond September 2017. Information will be provided at that time.”
