Wednesday, April 24th was a great night to play softball and the Morrison Fillies took full advantage of the weather and extended their conference record to 7-0 with a 24-8 win at Kewanee.
Playing the minimum of five innings, the Fillies pounded out thirteen hits with Chelsea Eads collecting two singles and two doubles to drive in four of the twenty-four runs. Allie Wiersema gained the win while giving up eight hits, three for doubles.
