Runners and walkers participating in the 36th annual Clinton Community College B-rrry Scurry 4-mile Run on Saturday, February 4, 2017, enjoyed chilly winter running weather, with temperatures above freezing at race time at noon. However, the B-rrry Scurry record for coldest temperature was set in 1996, when the mercury dipped to 15°s below zero, with wind chill at 55°s F below zero!
Registrations totaled 638. Winner of the female division was Kelley Timmerman of Geneseo, IL, in a time of 27:05. (Jessica Langford of Rockford, IL, holds the B-rrry Scurry record of 23:21.) Mike Behr of Aurora, IL, won the male division in a time of 22:24. (Bryan Glass of Geneseo holds the record of 20:15.)
