The Whiteside County Airport will host an Aviation Career Day and Airport Open House on Saturday, October 21, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., to inspire the next generation of aviation professionals. Aviation Career Day exhibitors, representing various aspects of the aviation industry, will be on hand to discuss career potentials within the aviation industry with attendees.
Exhibitors include aircraft maintenance technicians, aircraft salespeople, flight attendants, civil air patrol personnel, military recruiters, corporate and airline pilots.
The Whiteside County Airport Aviation Career Day and Open House are open and free to the public. A complimentary lunch will be available for those that register in advance of the event.
The Whiteside County Airport KSQI is located one-half mile south of Interstate 88 (Exit #41) on the east side of IL Route 4, 10950 Hoover Road, Rock Falls, IL.
It features two asphalt runways, the longest of which is 6499 feet long and 150 feet wide. The second runway measures 3900 feet by 100 feet wide.
