The Morrison Fillies ended the first day of the Cliff Warkins Memorial Classic Holiday Tournament, on Saturday, December 26, 2015, with a 52-45 loss to the Kewanee[, IL,] Wethersfield Lady Geese.
On Saturday, December 26, 2015, the Morrison Mustangs opened the annual Cliff Warkins Memorial Holiday Tournament in Erie, IL, with an 8:30 a.m.game against the Kewanee[, IL,] Wethersfield Geese. Wethersfield flew home with a victory. Later in the day, the Mustangs defeated Peoria Heights, IL, 65 to 61.
The Morrison High School Fillies Basketball team was able to outscore the Kewanee, IL, Lady Boilermakers from the field. The local team, however, sent the Boilermakers to the free throw line 33 times, where they converted on 22 (67%) of the gifts.

The Morrison Fillies earned win number three on the young season, by topping the Lady Missiles of Milledgeville, IL, 39-35. Struggling at the free throw line (36%) put extra pressure on the Fillies, but balanced scoring from six players made the difference.
