Fillies Earn Regional Crown

The IHSA Class 2A Girls Softball Championship was played on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Bureau Valley High School, between the Lady Red Devils from Spring Valley Hall and the Morrison Fillies.  The Morrison Fillies scored early and rebounded each time the Devils showed momentum, to clinch the Regional title

What a Game!

The real winner at the Wednesday, May 18, 2016, IHSA Regional game at Fulton, IL, was the spectators.  They were witness to one of the best high school baseball games played in this area for some time. Morrison Mustang head coach, Ben Sondgeroth referred to the game as “epic!”

Morrison Fillies’ Lauren Pannier limited the Sterling, IL, Golden Warriors to one hit and one run through five innings, Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the Elmhurst, IL, Tourney.  She held a 5-1 lead going into the sixth inning.

The Morrison Fillies used the long ball to subdue the Burlington Central Rockets on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the Elmhurs, IL, Tourney.  Emma Sitzmore went deep for a 3-run homer in the fourth inning.  Jaeden Workman did the same for a 2-run shot in the sixth inning.
