On Saturday, April 6, 2019, Parks and Recreation Coordinator Katie Selburg welcomed 40 Sophomore and Senior students from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, to the City of Morrison Community Room, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL.

50-55 visitors from Augustana College in Morrison on Saturday, April 4/6.

Students and professors from two separate classes will be here to begin their work for us looking at land use and public perception of the city parks in Morrison. This is Phase I of a two-year partnership between Augustana College and the City of Morrison through the ‘Sustainable Working Landscapes Initiative’.

The students will be headquartered in the Community Room at Odell Public Library on Saturday and plan to be in town from 9:30am-1:30pm. Please let me know if you would like to stop by at any time during the day to talk with the professors and/or students. Thanks!
