The following Arrests were made and Citations issued since Friday, August 6, 2021.
Arrests: On Friday, August 13, 2021, at approximately 11:13 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Melissa S. Frame, age 36 of Clinton, IA, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Frame with Failure to Appear-Driving While License Suspended. Frame was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Saturday, August 14, 2021, at approximately 1:50 a.m., Morrison Police responded to a motor vehicle crash on N. Jackson Street at E. Main Street, Morrison, IL. As a result of the investigation, Gregory L. Ottens, age 30 of Morrison, was arrested and charged with Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Ottens was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, was processed, and then released with a Notice to Appear.
