On 8/3/18 at about 11:57 p.m., Deputies responded to Emerson and Mill Roads, Emerson, IL, on the report of a motorcycle crash. Investigation revealed a 1997 Harley-Davidson driven by Jamison E. Smith, 43, of Morrison, IL, was traveling westbound on Emerson Road. He failed to negotiate a curve and collided with a bridge guardrail. He was transported to CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL, and airlifted to OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL, for injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
