Fulton, IL, resident Barbara Mask will document the origin of Dutch Days in 1974 during her PowerPoint program, at Morrison’s Heritage Museum, on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Doors open at 1:00 p.m., and her program begins promptly at 1:30.
The museum, at 202 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, is accessible to all, with parking and a ramp at the rear of the building. There is no charge to attend.
Because Mask is one, she will reference the numerous descendants of Cornelius Vogel. In 1881, the Vogel family–including a dozen children–emigrated to Fulton from the Netherlands. They all moved to Union Grove and relocated to Morrison. Especially invited to the program are members of the Vogel “clan,” as Mask calls them. If you know someone who also is, kindly invite them to this interesting program.
