Attention vehicle show enthusiasts. The Seventh Annual Emmanuel Reformed Church Car Show is scheduled for Saturday, August 24, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., rain or shine. The new location is downtown Main Street, Morrison, IL. The ERC Men’s Ministry Car Show Committee will award 30 plaques to owners of cars, motorcycles, and trucks. Below are entries from former EMC Car Shows.
Entries are $10 per vehicle by Sunday, August 18, and $15 each after that date. Register by calling Lloyd DeShane at 815-535-3240.
Best of Show earns a 6′ trophy; People’s Choice wins a 5′ trophy; Best Car and Best Truck each receive 4′ trophies.
Included on the day are
- Morrison’s Farmers’ Market from 8:00 a.m. to noon
- music by 3D Sound Company
- grilled ribeyes, pork chops, brats, and hot dogs by Morrison Kiwanis.
Donations are requested from exhibitors and visitors to benefit Morrison Friends Food Pantry: non-perishable foods; cleaning supplies; hygiene products; toiletries; paper products.
The People’s Choice award, determined by public opinion, will cost $1 per vote. Monies raised will be donated to a charity.
