Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, August 22, 2014.
Arrests:
On Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Morrison Police arrested Drew A. Hall, age 26 of Morrison,IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Rock Island County, charging Hall with Failure to Appear. Hall was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, was processed and then released after posting the required bail.
On Friday, August 22, 2014, at approximately 12:15 p.m., Morrison Police arrested James Kelm, age 33, and Cassie Kelm, age 32, both of Morrison, IL, pursuant to Body Attachments issued by Whiteside County charging the Kelms with Failure to Appear–Rule to Show Cause. The Kelms were transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Thursday, August 28, 2014, at approximately 12:50 p.m., Morrison Police assisted the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office in locating Terome M. Hamb, Jr., age 20 of Sterling, IL, who had left the Whiteside County Courthouse. Morrison Police located Hamb, Jr. at U. S. Route 30 and Lyndon Road after Hamb, Jr. had been involved in a single-vehicle accident. After further investigation, Morrison Police arrested Hamb, Jr., charging him with Obstructing/Resisting a Peace Officer (two Counts) and pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County charging Hamb, Jr. with Faiure to Appear–Operation Uninsured Vehicle. Hamb, Jr. was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
