Jacob Andrews was the third lucky winner at the Whiteside County Fair Bicycle Giveaway, on Thursday, August 20, 2015. The 12-year-old sixth grader, like many previous winners, needed a new bike. “I do, but it’s too small for me now,” he answered when asked if he owned a bicycle. He added he will get a chain and use the bike rack. His sponsor was Green and Clean Lawn Service of Morrison, IL.
Fair Board Publicity Chair Todd Mickley submitted Whiteside County Fair winners in Junior Beef; Junior Culinary, and Western Horse Show. All towns are in Illinois unless noted.
