Paige LaShelle, Morrison, IL, won the second Bicycle Giveaway on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. It was donated by The Hanford-Schuneman Insurance Agency of Erie, Prophetstown, IL. LaShelle is a seven–a-half-year-old second grader who owns a bike. She thought the new one might be too big for her, but her mother found it to be a perfect fit. On Thursday, August 20, Paige reported she had ridden the bicycle and shared her good news with classmates.
Fair Board Publicity Chair Todd Mickley submitted Whiteside County Fair winners in Open Hobbies; Junior Floriculture; Open Rabbits; Junior and Open Dairy; Junior and Open Swine. All towns are in Illinois unless noted.
