Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, August 17, 2018.
Arrests: On Friday, August 17, 2018, at approximately 5:36 p.m., Morrison Police responded to a domestic dispute at 610 Portland Avenue, Apt. B1, Morrison, IL. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested Brian M. Karnes, age 37 of Morrison, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Williamson County, charging Karnes with Failure to Appear-Aggravated Cruelty to Animals. Karnes was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Thursday, August 23, 2018, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Tyson J. Venema, age 36 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Venema with Failure to Appear/Pay-Driving While License Suspended. Venema was escorted to the Whiteside County Jail.
