On 8-14-19 at 11:32 p.m., a 16-year-old Morrison Male was stopped in Morrison, IL, for a turn signal violation. He was cited for Improper Turn Signal and No Valid Driver’s License – Graduated License Curfew Violation. A 17-year-old Morrison Male passenger was referred to Whiteside County Juvenile Court Authorities for Unlawful Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages. Morrison Police and Hunter’s Towing assisted on scene.
On 8-15-19 at 4:24 a.m., Taiwan J. Wilson, age 19 of Wheaton, IL, was stopped for speeding on Interstate 88 at milemarker 23 and cited for Speeding – 35 MPH Over the Posted Speed Limit (107/70 MPH), No Valid Driver’s License, and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Wilson was transported to the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office and processed. After processing, it was learned from DuPage County Sheriff’s Office, that they took a stolen vehicle report shortly before 7:00 a.m. It was for the same vehicle Wilson was driving when he was stopped at 4:24 a.m. Wilson was taken into custody again, arrested for Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, and remanded to the Whiteside County Jail on the felony charges. On 8-15-19 at 4:46 p.m., Timothy D. Platt, age 50 of Evanston, IL, was stopped on U. S. Route 30 near Lyndon Road for Unlawful Approach to a Stationary Emergency Vehicle Violation (Scott’s Law). He was cited for the offense and Civil Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On 8-16-19 at 2:08 a.m., during a motorist assist on Interstate 88 at milemarker 25, Ari D. Allen, age 42 of Chicago, IL, was cited for No Valid Driver’s License and arrested on an outstanding Lee County Warrant for Failure to Appear – Driving While License Suspended. He was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed, and bonded without incident. Morrison Police assisted on scene.
