August 16 Morrison Police Report

Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following arrests made and citations issued since Friday, August 16, 2013.

The following Arrests are reported.

On Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at approximately 8:15 p.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Dillon D. Schurke, age 21 of Morrison, IL, in the 400 block of E. Lincolnway for an equipment violation.  After further investigation of the traffic stop, Schurke was arrested and charged with Possession of Cannabis (under 2.5 grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Gary D. Miller, age 20 of Morrison, a passenger in the vehicle, was arrested and charged with Possession of Cannabis (under 2.5 grams).  Another passenger in the vehicle, Hannah R. Gaffey, age 18 of Morrison, was arrested and charged with Possession of Cannabis (under 2.5 grams).  All three were taken to the Morrison Police Department, processed, and then released on a Notice to Appear, with a court date of Monday, September 23, 2013.
