August 13 Fair Winners and Bike Winner

Posted by

WCFairSign

The first child to win a free bicycle during the 2019 Whiteside County Fair was Hailey Kenseth, 10, a fifth grader in Morrison, IL.  Hers was the fourth name to be drawn, as three other children did not make a claim at the Secretary’s Office.  Hailey’s parents are Amber Woods and Jon Kenseth.  Hailey has a bicycle, but it is too small.  She will ride it in town, but not to school.  She and her friends, however, like to ride on the Southside, and Junior High, School parking areas.  She has a helmet.  Fair Board President Paul Vock attended the presentation.  The generous donor was Joel Downie, Downie & Associates, CPA’s PC, of Rock Falls, IL.
