August 1 Morrison Police Report

Morrison Chief of Police Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Thursday, August 1, 2019.

Arrests:  On Friday, August 2, 2019, at approximately 11:21 a.m., Morrison Police responded to 208 W. Wall Street, Morrison, IL, regarding an unwanted person at the residence.  As a result of the on-scene investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Allyison M. Mucci, age 18 of Morrison, with Criminal Trespass to Residence and Resisting a Peace Officer (both Class A Misdemeanors.)  Mucci was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.

On Saturday, August 3, 2019, at approximately 2:16 a.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Eric J. Blackhawk, age 36 of Sterling, IL, for speeding.  The traffic stop occurred in the 400 block of E. Lincolnway, Morrison.  As a result of the traffic stop, Morrison Police arrested and charged Blackhawk with Speeding, Driving While License Revoked, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Blackhawk was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.

On Sunday, August 4, 2019, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Eric J. Leonard, age 40 of Bryant, IA, for a moving violation.  The traffic stop occurred in the area of W. Lincolnway and Garden Plain Road, Morrison.  As a result of the traffic stop, Morrison Police arrested and charged Leonard with Improper Lane Usage and Driving Under the Influence (Alcohol.)  Leonard was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.

On Sunday, August 4, 2019, at approximately 3:21 a.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Jamie G. Holbrook, age 43 of Sterling, IL, for a moving violation, after receiving a complaint of reckless driving.  The traffic stop occurred in the area of the 500 block of W. Lincolnway.  As a result of the traffic stop, Morrison Police arrested and charged Holbrook with Improper Lane Usage, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, and Driving Under the Influence (Alcohol.)  Holbrook was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
