Audrey Stuart, 87, of Morrison, IL, died Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at MercyOne Medical Center, in Clinton, IA.
Audrey was born October 7, 1933, in Morrison to Edward and Anna (Beswick) Wells. She was educated in the Greenwood School in rural Whiteside County, and was a graduate of Morrison High School. On February 27, 1953, she married Harvey W. Stuart in Fairhaven, IL; he died March 25, 2001. Audrey lived her entire life on her parents’ farm, later farming alongside her husband, Harvey, and raising their two sons. She was a member of Morrison United Methodist Church. Audrey loved animals, especially her cats and her beloved dog, Cassie. She enjoyed being outdoors, planting flowers, and helping on the farm.
Survivors include son, Randy (Pat) Stuart of Gainesville, FL, and life-long, dear friend, Donna Bierman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey, and son, David Stuart.
There will be a Private Visitation and Funeral Service at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, with Rev. Calvin Haines, Jr. of Morrison United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison, IL.
A memorial to Morrison United Methodist Church has been established.
