The Ashford University Softball Team is hosting its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Jamboree on Friday, April 10, and Saturday, April 11, 2015, at the Morrison Sports Complex, 15201 Bishop Road, in Morrison, IL. Ten teams will be competing on the field.
The event will feature a silent auction and a Cancer memorial/survivor balloon release on Saturday, involving everyone in the park!
Entry fee into the tournament is free, but donations for the Iowa Care For Yourself initiative, sponsored by the Clinton Genesis Visiting Nurses Association, will be accepted.
Games will be played on:
- Friday, April 10, at Noon and 2:30 and 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday, April 11, at 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 and 3:00 p.m.
One event is a silent auction. There will be a Saturday balloon release between the first and second games,close to noon. A limited number of t-shirts will be for sale. Food and beverages are available for purchase.
