Calling all Sauk Valley area dancers! There is still time to join our Woodlawn Dance Academy Nutcracker Camp and be a part of our November performances of this classic holiday ballet. Camp days are Monday, August 6, through Friday, August 10, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Woodlawn Arts Academy is located at 3807 Woodlawn Road, Sterling, IL. Dancers from eight-to-adult who participate in this camp will be given the opportunity to perform in “The Nutcracker.” Dance experience is required.
Students will audition for parts and learn the dances during the week-long camp. Then, they will attend bi-monthly Saturday rehearsals throughout the fall, in order to perform the ballet.
You do not need to be a Woodlawn Dance Academy student to participate. We will do our best to work around other studios’ schedules for additional rehearsals this fall.
Tuition: is $150. Saturday rehearsals are included in this fee, but additional costume fees may be required.
Savant Capital Management presents “The Nutcracker,” a Woodlawn Arts Academy production. These performances, in Centennial Auditorium at Sterling High School, will kick off the 2018 holiday season:
