If you’re looking for a great comedy show and entertainment for the whole family, you have to see the Dairyland Donkey Basketball game! Morrison Athletic Boosters is sponsoring the fun on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at Morrison High School,643 Genesee Avenue, Morrison, IL. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., and the fun begins at 6:30. It will be wilder than a rodeo and funnier than a circus!
Tickets are $6 in advance and $8 at the door. You can purchase tickets in advance at Farmers Insurance Office, 127 E. Main Street, Morrison.
There will be a “Kiss a Donkey Contest” before the game starts. During the week there will be cans at each of the schools, for kids and adults to fill with money to vote for their favorite person to kiss a donkey. Jan Scott, Jr. High Teacher, Jennifer Oetting, Northside and Southside Elementary Principal, and Gregg Dolan, Athletic Director, have graciously agreed to participate. The person who collects the most money, gets to kiss the donkey!
- Free donkey rides will be offered to the first 125 kids between games.
- Morrison Cheerleaders will sell donkey tattoos prior to game time and will cheer on each of the teams.
- Grab a bite to eat from the Morrison Post Prom concession stand, featuring walking tacos and hot dogs.
There will be two rounds of play and a championship game.
In the first game the Morrison Firemen will take on Morrison Area Businesses.

In the second game the Morrison Teachers play against the Morrison Athletic Boosters.
