Missing Woman Alert: Carol J. Leechman

Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office reports a missing person’s alert for Carol J. Leechman, 55 years old, from the Como Road area, in Sterling, IL.  She is 5′ 5″ tall, weighing 120 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.  Leechman was last seen at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, November 25, 2017.

Alternate Bus Pick Up and Drop Off During Seal Coating

Wednesday, August 30, 2017, The Whiteside County Highway Department will begin seal coating the following roads:  Scenic, Sycamore, most of Sunset, Hilltop, Terrace, Ridgewood, Greenland, and Millikan.  Should this work not be completed on Wednesday, it will be completed on Thursday, August 31.  Please plan on the buses picking up
