Boil Order Has Been Cancelled

On Sunday, June 29, 2014, the City of Morrison, IL, rescinded a Boil Order for residents living on Maple, Cedar, and Ash Streets.  Residents in the affected area were notified.

Boil Order in Effect for Maple, Cedar, and Ash

Due to a water main break the City of Morrison, IL, has issued a Boil Order to include ALL residents living on Maple, Cedar, and Ash Streets.  Residents are advised to boil all water used for drinking and cooking for at least five minutes before consuming it, until further notice. 

June 21 Clean-Up and Collection Day

Brownie Sale to Aid Local Animals

On Saturday, April 26, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Brownie Troops 1372 and 1395 will have a garage and bake sale at 307 S. Base Street, Morrison, IL.  All proceeds go to help local animals.  This “Take Action Project” will finish their Girl Scout Journeys.  

3:00 p.m. Cross Walk

The traditional Cross Walk on Good Friday, April 18, 2014, will begin at 3:00 p.m., instead of noon, to allow school children to attend. Participants will begin at the entrance to Resthave Retirement & Nursing Home, 408 Maple Avenue, Morrison, IL.
