MCUD #6 Staff, Parents, and Guardians: On Friday, February 9, 2024, an online petition was circulated with the premise that the Board of Education was contemplating the elimination of the K-5 Fine Arts program. On Monday night, February 5, 2024, Morrison Junior Basketball player Camryn Veltrop became the All-Time Leading Scorer in Morrison High School history. She surpassed her sister Shelby Veltrop’s record by nine points, after scoring 18 points in the TRAC-West Conference win over Erie-Prophetstown. Coach Kerry Grimm is shown with Camryn.

Morrison Community Unit School District #6 will run its normal schedule tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Dismissal time will be 2:55 p.m. at Northside, and 3:05 at the other building. There is no early dismissal tomorrow. Both morning and afternoon PreK programs will be in attendance.
