On Tuesday, September 19, 2023, Whiteside County Deputies investigated a suspicious vehicle at 1025 12th Street, in Erie, IL. During the investigation, Deputies identified a male subject sitting in the front driver’s seat of the GMC pickup truck, as Evan R. Ward, 30 years old, of Milan, IL. A search of the pickup was conducted, and purported Methamphetamine was found.
Ward was placed under arrest, transported to Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, was processed and released, with a Notice to Appear.
This is merely a charge, and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
