4-03-18 at 1:30 p.m. Shawn A. Nelson, age 37 of Morrison, IL, was arrested on two Whiteside County Warrants: one Body Attachment Contempt Warrant and one Failure to Appear-Speeding. Nelson was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
4-03-18 at 2:00 p.m. Tabatha L. Kessel, age 42 of Lyndon, IL, was arrested on a Whiteside County Warrant for Failure to Pay or Appear-Forgery and a Lee County Warrant for Contempt of Court-Forgery, after she turned herself into the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office. After posting the required bond, Kessel was released with future court appearances in each county.
4-06-18 at 7:20 a.m. Nichole A. Bowman, age 30 of Rockford, IL, was stopped by Deputies following a motorist report of an eastbound reckless driver on Interstate 88, rural Lyndon, IL. Bowman was arrested for two Counts of DUI, Aggravated DUI, Speeding 88/70 MPH, Improper Lane Usage, Driving While License Revoked, and Child Endangerment. She was processed at the Whiteside County Jail and remanded on the felony charge(s). Williams’ Towing assisted on scene.
4-06-18 at 11:25 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash with no injuries at the intersection of U. S. Route 30 and IL Route 84. A vehicle driven John E. Gavin, age 62 of Polo, was traveling northbound on IL Route 84 when he failed to yield to an eastbound vehicle on U. S. Route 30 driven by Brittny L. Bratcher, age 21 of Sabula, IA. There was minor damage but, Gavin was cited for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Fulton Police assisted on scene.
