The following Arrests were made and Citations issued since Monday, April 5, 2021.
Arrests: On Monday, April 5, 2021, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Shane A. Gaffey, age 46 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Gaffey with Failure to Appear-Aggravated Battery (Peace Officer.) Gaffey was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Thursday, April 8, 2021, at approximately 10:11 p.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Rick A. Lehman, age 31 of Sterling, IL, in the 100 block of W. Lincolnway for a registration violation. As a result of the traffic stop, Lehman was issued a warning citation for Improper Display of Registration and was arrested pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Lee County, for Failure to Appear. Lehman posted the required bond and was released from the traffic stop.
On Thursday, April 8, 2021, at approximately 11:41 p.m., Morrison Police responded to a domestic dispute in the area of 408 Maple Avenue. As a result of the investigation, Adam J. Huff, age 32 of Prophetstown, IL, was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence (Alcohol), Resisting a Peace Officer (Class A Misdemeanor), and Domestic Battery (Class A Misdemeanor.) Huff was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
