Tonight, Crossroads Community Church-Morrison Campus, 201 W. Market Street, Morrison, IL, will host a community fundraiser for Javier Carreno, on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Javier and his wife Maggie own 5 Star Landscape Design in Morrison. Besides a family with three children to support, this esteemed business employees a large squad of landscapers. Left-to-right, Sebastian, Brian, and Aliana are shown with their parents.
To survive, Carreno needs a kidney transplant. In the late fall of 2021, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Kidney failure. Currently he requires dialysis three times a week, to filter his kidneys. There are people waiting to see if they would be a match to donate a kidney to Javi. However, that testing cannot happen, until Carreno is placed on the Transplant List.
There is substantial cost of being placed on this life-saving list, and it is not covered by insurance. The Carreno family must raise an amount of five figures.
Crossroads Community Church-Morrison Campus will cover all expenses, for Paula Rodriguez and Linda Temple to prepare the homemade Mexican Dinner for tonight.
Know that 100% of your donation will aid in Javier’s ability to meet the financial requirement to continue his treatment. Drive up to the Crossroads building to place an order for items listed below. Preorder and pick up your food inside the building.
The menu includes all these: a Corn, Potato, and Cheese Quesadilla; one Cheese Enchilada; one Flour Soft Shell Beef Taco (with lettuce and cheese separate.) The dinner includes Rice, Beans, four ounces of Salsa, and a cookie.
