April 30 Morrison Police Report

The following Arrests were made and Citations issued since Friday, April 30, 2021.

Arrests:  On Sunday, May 2, 2021, at approximately 6:01 p.m., Morrison Police responded to a complaint of a reckless driver, traveling eastbound into the City of Morrison, IL.  Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle, driven by Koleen M. Kessen, age 52 of Rochelle, IL, on W. Main Street for a moving violation.  During the traffic stop and against the commands of Morrison Police, the passenger, Branden M. Landry, age 28 of Dixon, IL, exited the vehicle and urinated on the pubic street.  As a result, Morrison Police issued Kessen a warning citation for Failure to Signal and arrested and charged Landry with Illegal Transportation of Alcohol and Public Indecency (Class A Misdemeanor.)  Landry was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, was processed, and then released, with a Notice to Appear.

On Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at approximately 3:45 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Joseph E. Nohai, Jr., age 51 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Nohai with Failure to Report/Violation of Electronic Monitoring Home Detention.  Nohai was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.

On Thursday, May 6, 2021, at approximately 7:45 a.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Paul E. Green, age 48 of Clinton, IA, in the 600 block of E. Lincolnway for a registration violation   As a result of the traffic stop, Green was issued a warning Citation for No Valid Registration, a Citation for Driving While License Revoked, and arrested pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Green with Failure to Appear-Driving While Revoked.  Green was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
