April 10 Sheriff’s Office Report

These arrests are merely a charge, and he/she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

3-29-17 at 7:23 a.m.  Rodney G. Beese, age 59 of Rockford, IL, was arrested on U. S. Route 30 at Harvey Road for a Wisconsin Department of Corrections Warrant-Parole Violation.  He was remanded to the Whiteside County Jail, pending extradition to Wisconsin.

3-29-17 at 9:00 a.m.  Alexiss N. Johnson, age 20 of Rock Falls, was a passenger in a vehicle stopped on U. S. Route 30 east of Morrison for speeding.  Alexiss was arrested on a Lee County Warrant-Failure to Appear Contempt of Court.  She posted the required bond and was released from the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office.

3-29-17 at 2:23 p.m.  Cedric J. Adams, age 20 of Rock Falls, IL, turned himself in at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office.  Adams was processed and held in lieu of bond.

3-29-15 at 3:50 p.m.  Billy J. Shaw, age 38 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested at his residence on a Whiteside County Contempt Warrant.  He posted the required bond and was released pending a future court date.

3-30-17 at 1:45 p.m.  Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in rural Morrison, IL, for speeding.  Upon further investigation, a juvenile female, age 17 of Tampico, IL, was issued a citation for 81 MPH in a 55 MPH zone.  The juvenile was released from the scene with a Promise to Comply and a future mandatory court appearance.

4-3-17 at 8:28 p.m.  Whiteside County Deputies responded to 1st Avenue Shell in Rock Falls, IL, to investigate a crash involving a Rock Falls Squad.  A vehicle driven by a 16-year-old Rock Falls female backed into a lawfully parked Rock Falls squad, causing minor damage to both vehicles.  The 16-year-old female was cited for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and released with a Promise to Comply.

<4-4-17 at 12:58 a.m.  Dustin R. P. Boyer, age 23 of Sterling, IL, was cited for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, following a traffic stop in Sterling for No Turn Signal as Required.

4-4-17 at 2:08 a.m.  Latina Precious Blassingame, age 30 of Charles City, IA, was stopped on Interstate 88 at milemarker 35.  She was arrested for Violation Minimum Speed Regulations, Driving While License Suspended, and Failure to Secure Child, Under 8 years of age.  She was processed at the Whiteside County Jail and released on bond.  Slim-n-Hank’s Towing assisted on scene.

4-4-17 at 10:40 p.m.  Haiden J. Hatten Lavelle, age 24 of Sterling, IL, was stopped in Sterling for No Headlights When Required.  He was cited for that offense, as well as Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle with a civil citation for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.

4-5-17 at 12:45 a.m.  Celestino Agustin Pedro, age 26 of Eagle Grove, IA, was stopped in Rock Falls, IL, for no seat belt.  He was cited for No Seat Belt and No Valid Driver’s License.  Williams’ Towing assisted on scene.

4-5-17 at 1:35 a.m.  Juan A. Rodriguez, age 20 of Sterling, IL, was stopped in Rock Falls, IL, for Inoperative Rear Registration Light.  He was cited for the Inoperative Rear Registration Light and No Valid Driver’s License.  Slim-n-Hank’s Towing assisted on scene.

4-7-17 at 8:01 p.m.  Raymond G. O’Neil, age 24 of Dixon, IL, was stopped on U. S. Route 30 at Galt Road.  He was arrested for No Valid Driver’s License and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

4-7-17 at 9:35 p.m.  Whiteside County Deputies initiated a traffic stop on U. S. Route 30 near the Acker Road intersection.  During the investigation of the stop, Thomas A. Young, age 26 of Gary, IN, was arrested for Speeding and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.  The two passengers in the vehicle were released from the scene with no charges.  Assistance was provided on scene by the Morrison and Fulton Police Departments along with Hunter’s Towing of Morrison, IL.

4-7-17 at 11:12 p.m.  Adrian J. Delgado, age 18 of Elgin, IL, was stopped for speeding on U. S. Route 30 near Millard Road and cited for Speeding 77/55 MPH plus Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle.  He was released on a Promise to Comply.

4-8-17 at 1:28 a.m.  Whiteside County Deputies investigated a motorist assist on Interstate 88.  Upon further investigation, Luis D. Lamas, age 18 of Nebraska, was arrested for No Valid Driver’s License.  Lamas was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was processed and released with a Notice to Appear. Williams’ Towing Service assisted on scene.

4-8-17 at 10:40 p.m.  Jimmy Smith, age 29 of Chicago, IL, was stopped for speeding on Interstate 88 at milemarker 36 and arrested for Speeding 98/70 MPH.  He was released on bond pending a future court date in Morrison, IL.

4-9-17 at 12:30 a.m.  Whiteside County Deputies responded to the report of an underage drinking party in rural Sterling, IL. The following subjects were cited for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol as a Minor:

  • Nathaniel J. Parker, age 18 of Galt, IL
  • 15-year-old Morrison, IL, Female
  • Taylor T. Kobbeman, age 18 of Rock Falls, IL
  • 17-year-old Rock Falls, IL, Male
  • 16-year-old Sterling, IL, Male
  • 16-year-old Sterling, IL, Male
  • 17-year-old Rock Falls, IL, Male
  • 17-year-old Sterling, IL, Male
  • 15-year-old Sterling, IL, Male

4-9-17 at 3:43 a.m.  Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in rural Rock Falls, IL, for a speeding and lane violation.  Upon further investigation, Camilo Q. Quintana, age 38 of Sterling, IL, was arrested for Speeding 70 MPH in a 55 MPH zone, Improper Lane Usage, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.  Quintana was eventually transported to the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, where he was processed and released with a Notice to Appear.  Rock Falls Police Department and Slim-N-Hank’s Towing Service assisted on scene.
