On 4-17-18 at 7:35 a.m., Jeremiah E. English, age 40 of Gilson, IL, was stopped while traveling eastbound on Interstate 88 at milemarker 36 Sterling, IL, following a motorist report of a reckless driver. English was arrested for Driving While License Suspended, processed at the Sterling Police Department, and released on bond. Illinois State Police and Williams’ Towing assisted on scene.
On 4-22-18 at 9:10 a.m., Whiteside County Deputies responded to an emergency call at a residence in rural Lyndon, IL, for a reported physical domestic battery incident. D’Varee K. Thompson, age 22 of Lyndon was arrested for Domestic Battery, Aggravated Battery-Pregnancy, and Contraband into a Penal Institution. He was remanded to the Whiteside County Jail on the charges without bond, pending a future court date.
